Successful Showroom event!

Many thanks to all of you who contributed to the Showroom 25 of April, it was a success! After a substantial makeover of the Mandel office the 11 exhibiting brands moved in: 66 ° North, Bergans, Devold, Hestra, Nikwax, Osprey, Polartec, PrimaLoft, Röjk, Salomon and Suunto. Around 40 journalists and bloggers in areas such as lifestyle, health, sport and outdoor arrived during the day and checked out the news of spring and fall 2013.

Thanks also to all our sponsors: Claes Grundsten for beautiful wall decorations, Light My Fire for practical mugs, plates and cutlery and Bäckerei for good bread to our catering!

Bergans of Norway choose Mandel

Bergans of Norway was founded in 1908 and is today one of Scandinavia’s largest outdoor companies with success on both the European and American market. They turn to anyone who likes to be outdoors and value technical and functional products. Their range includes clothing, backpacks, sleeping bags, sleeping mats, tents and unique foldable Ally Canadians. Mandel is from now on the PR-agency in Sweden for Bergans of Norway and we are proud and happy to work together!

 

Start Exploring on Nordic Outdoor!

Mandel has been selected as the PR-agency for the experience fair Nordic Outdoor which takes place 3-5 of May in Gothenburg! The fair offers exciting try-on activities, lectures and film screenings with a strong focus on engaging and inspire the visitors. Don’t miss to try activities like kayak, climbing and trail running!

Mandel Showroom!

In less than a month, the 25 of April, Mandel Showroom takes place at Wallingatan in Stockholm! This time it will be ten brands presenting their products and we promise several surprises. Welcome press and partners!

Street art

Today we discovered that a tree on Drottninggatan was dressed up with different pieces of knitting. This is a work by Cirkus Cirkör who is performing a show named Knitting Peace at Dansens hus in Stockholm. Check out their cool video on the website!

Art News!

The Photographic Museum is located on Stadsgården in Stockholm and offers both photographic exhibitions as photo courses and opportunities for conference and events. Under the same roof there is a restaurant, café and shop. Regular opening hours: Sunday to Wednesday 09:00 – 21:00 and Thursday to Saturday 9:00 – 23:00.

Sportlovsveckor!

Nu i slutet på februari drar sportlovsveckorna igång runt om i Sverige. Många åker utomlands, antingen för att åka skidor eller få lite efterlängtad sol i vintermörket. Andra väljer att resa norrut inom landet och åka skidor i de svenska fjällen. För de som väljer att stanna kvar i Stockholm finns det också massor av alternativ. De skidintresserade kan välja att besöka Hammarbybacken, vid Hammarby sjöstad, eller Flottsbrobacken i Huddinge. På båda anläggningarna finns utrustning att hyra för de som inte har med sig egen. Backarna är öppna 7 dagar i veckan men tiderna kan variera beroende på väder.

Sportlovet brukar, som namnet antyder, vara inriktat på sport av olika slag och förutom skidåkning är äventyrsbad och simhallar välbesökta. Men det finns självklart andra saker att välja bland såsom att besöka något av Stockholms muséer, djurparker, lekland eller delta i någon av de aktiviteter som stadens parker anordnar för barnen.
